Description

    The Panoscan was built from the ground up just for use in law enforcement and is a breakthrough in crime scene documentation.  There are many other digital panoramic cameras out there for use but none can compare to the Panoscan.  The Panoscan beats the competition in the following categories:

 

Speed:

 

     The Panoscan captures images up to 8 times faster that the competing cameras.  The Panoscan processor allows for full resolution spherical scans to be made in 54 seconds compared to other cameras 8 minute scans.

 

Sensitivity:

 

     The Panoscan is the only camera on the market that can shoot at ISO settings of up to 3200.  Even at the high sensitivity settings the images are clear and noise free.

 

Rugged:

 

     The Panoscan is made from solid aluminum.  The camera is designed to survive in law enforcement.  It can be used in the worst of conditions including high winds.

 

Workflow:

 

     The Panoscan system is open.  They are standard TIFF format and can be opened and processed by virtually any imaging program.

 

Ease of use:

 

     The camera uses a fully automatic shutter.  Instant preview allows for no second scanning.  White balance and tonal range in seconds.
